• 51-55 O’Dowd wins
• Knees buckle, and sorrow spreads among all involved with Acalanes basketball
• Stomachs sink and disbelief sets in
• Fillmore takes seat on bench after game with head in his hands and doesn’t pick his head up for entire award ceremony
• 12 points- McGlynn
• 16 points- Anderson
• 17 points- Baker (season best)
• Shawn Lewis- 27 points, 10 rebounds, sets record for three pointers in nor cal championship- 5 threes
• Hard for expected team to get pumped up, underdog has nothing to lose
• O’Dowd played like champions, not sloppy like dons
• Turnovers killed throughout game
• O’Dowd adjusted D to completely shut off Fillmore- only two points (11 rebounds)
• And so season ends on a season low note for Fillmore, but what more could this dream team have asked for in such a Cinderella season.
